Legend has it that Brown had hoped to sell 100 lipsticks in a month; instead she was selling a hundred in a day, and so the brand (along with the nude-look makeup phenomenon) was born.
But I did one movie—it was about teenage alcoholism, this kid kept getting bruised, so I had to do continuity shots. It was deadly for me to be focused on the same factor on a regular basis. And I hated having the meals everywhere while we’d simply sit there and wait! So that’s how I determined not to go into the movie enterprise.
