NDRF
- India, had its sight on the INSARAG External Classification (IEC).
INSARAG – International Search and Rescue Advisory Group.
- A network of over 80 countries & organisations under the United nations, sets minimum international Standards for Union Search & Rescue (USAR) teams in earthquake response.
- One USAR heavy team of NDRF is to undergo classification in Dec 2016.
- if it gets classification, UN can send them anywhere.
