      1) How many attempts you have made?

      52-53
      SEC 1- 27/28
      SEC 2- 25

      2) Your Last mock result?

      98.xx

      3) How was your experience of the test?

      It was smooth and Glitch free and everything went off like it was supposed to .

      4) What was the surprise element for you?

      RC’s were pathetic and was seriously amazed at the easy level of Section 1 .
      The new type of Parajumble was a tough nut to crack.

      5) Any tips to handle the computer based exam better?

      Stay calm as possible. Time management is a key in Sec 1 as the Time tends to fly.
      and i believe the mocks have made everyone aware of the interface so there is nothing new.

      6) Your overall analysis of the exam:

      QA: The section was surprisingly easy with a lot of easy to moderate questions.
      DI was good, with 2 easy and 1 moderate calculation intensive set.

      LR was easy but tricky , the question should be read thoroughly and carefully.
      VA part was moderate consisting of PJ, PC, FIB’s but the RC’s were DIFFICULT to say the least , with 2 of the 3 RC’s from Philosophy 🙁

      All in All it was a moderate paper.

      7) Any other details or something you would like to share:-

      DON’T ENTER THE TESTING LAB EARLY , U TEND TO FEEL DROWSY LOOKING AT THE MONITOR DOING NOTHING

        1. Name & City , where the Exam was conducted & DATE :

        Positive Solutions, New Delhi- 6/11/11

        2. Experience of the test :
        The NMAT experience was quite good, the proctors were very helpful.
        There were No technical glitches. Overall the Exam went off well.

        3. Overall Difficulty of the paper [QA , LS , LR] :
        QA: 48 ques -60 mins
        Overall QA was quite manageable, in the time frame, questions were of easy to moderate in difficulty. All topics were covered.
        DI was moderate , with a few lengthy sets with HUGE calculations and close options.
        my paper consisted of a DI set , which was closer to LR than DI 😉

        LS: 32 ques – 22 mins
        As feared by most that 22mins would be a very little time for 32 ques , it was manageable.
        Questions touched in this section were
        -> Vocab based
        -> Pj’s
        -> Error detection
        -> RC’s
        ->FIB’s

        RC’s were quite big for my liking ranging from 2 -2.5 pages but easy to understand
        direct question were there, as far as i can remember inference based questions were not present.

        LR: 40 ques- 38 mins
        As expected LR was TOUGH , with a few new type of questions , which were not seen last year.
        One of the Caselet that i got , resembled more of a CAT level caselet :O
        the Overall Difficulty could be Considered to be TOUGH because of the sheer length of the section as compared to the time allotted to it

        All in All, NMAT is tougher than last year , but proper time management can take you places.

        4. No of sitters : Many

        5. No of questions attempted : 120 😉

        6. Any surprise elements : LR :O

        7. Any other suggestion:
        TIME MANAGEMENT IS THE KEY !!!!
