UPSC 2016 Toppers

UPSC 2016 Results are out. It disappointed some, gave moments of celebration pride and winning to few. Every aspirant which reached till interview has faced hardship, struggle and did lot of hard work to reach there. Each of them is special and have something to teach.

Tina Dabi the future IAS of our country, a girl who made Delhi Proud by cracking one of the toughest exam by getting 1st rank in the very 1st attempt is a success story in herself. Its a tale to celebrate and learn from. Not only UPSC aspirants, but each one of us has something to learn from her.

Let’s try to understand what makes her different and how can we get motivated from her story and try to conquer our goals.

• She opted for Haryana cadre, which itself shows her willingness to challenge odds, and make a difference to society. It also signifies her dedication to fight the conventional system and urge to establish gender unbiased society.
• Her goals in life were clear and defined since long, that is evident from the subjects which she chose in her secondary grades. Opting for humanity  and then Political science was a very thoughtful and well planned decision.
• Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practice every day. And she proved it.
  An aspirant of UPSC needs to be dedicated and patient while preparing for civil services. And Tina Dabi’s success make us believe the power of hardwork and punctuality. Its her regularity that paid, and gave her fruits.
• Also there is a lesson for every aspirant that if you are passionate you can achieve success in one go, it was her first successful attempt.

There is no success without hardship. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

23-year-old Athar, a resident of Anantnag in south Kashmir, was undergoing training at the Indian Railways Institute of Transport and Management, Lucknow. This was his second attempt for civil services, his story also teach us to believe in our dreams and try to achieve without getting affected by failures.

In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can.
