CAT 2019 Application Process started
Many CAT 2019 aspirants were waiting eagerly for the start of CAT application process. Registration for the test started at 10 A.M. on 7th, August 2019. The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct a computer based Common Admission Test 2019 (CAT 2019) on November 24, 2019 in two sessions. This will be first CAT test in which 10 per cent reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates will be applicable. The registration process will close at 5 P.M. on September 18, 2019. So, aspirants have more than one month time for the registration process.
How to complete the CAT 2019 Registration:
Step 1 – Go to iimcat.ac.in
Step 2 – Fill the details to generate login id and password using your email and mobile number. The id and password will be received on email id and mobile number.
Step 3 – Go to iimcat.ac.in again & login using received id and password.
Step 4 – Fill the application form.
Step 5 – Pay the fees for the application form.
Step 6 – Take print out of CAT 2019 application form
CAT Eligibility :
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as an University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Registration Fees
₹950 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates.
₹1900 for all other categories of candidates.
Please note that a candidate needs to pay the registration fees only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
Important Dates :

Registration closes: 18 September, 2019 (5:00 pm)
Admit card download: 23 October – 24 November, 2019
Exam date: 24 November, 2019
Result declaration: Second week of January, 2020 (tentative)
