CAT 2016- What next? Colleges you should apply

But now it is time to take one of the important decision, which colleges you should apply.We all know there are n number of colleges accepting CAT score but you need to figure out which suits you the best.

I would suggest you to shortlist institutes basis your profile, future aspirations( CMO,CFO,CTO) and your expected CAT percentile.Also make sure that you check college ranking, placement scenario, batch strength, location and quality of faculty of those institutes.(Though a lot of people might say we will look at this thing once we get final call, agreed you can but i believe one should be focus and clear headed from the beginning only, this is a big trap and you should take all possible measures from start not to fall in trap)

Now you need to find out application deadline and cut off of the institutes you shortlisted.

Also keep in mind some institutes invite applications before CAT results, I would advise you to keep buffer of atleast plus minus 5 percentile while applying for institutes.You need to decide apply/not to apply to these institutes taking a slight risk on your percentile and career.

My suggestion is Don’t take risk with your career, if you think institutes fit your criteria and you are dicey about 1-2 percentile less apply as we expect cut off to be lower this time than last year.

Most important thing is Don’t panic, discuss with your mentors parents and friends before taking any crucial decision.
